My passion for photography began about 20 years ago with a birthday gift from my parents: a 110 film camera and a promise to develop any film that I bought and exposed. I wonder how much they regretted that deal! Strangely enough, it didn't occur to me that something so FUN could be a profession until my senior year of highschool, when my photos started attracting the attention of friends and family. But once the idea was planted, it grew quickly! Ten years later, I find myself feeling overwhelmingly blessed. God has given me the ability to do what I love, as well as an amazing husband and family who support me and love me unconditionally! Life is good. With every picture I take, I'm reminded of the precious relationships in my life and the importance of savoring the moments. I strive to give my customers images that reflect their lives, inspire them, and remind them of what they love; in turn, I receive constant reminders of what's important to me.

I'm intrinsically drawn to bright, bold colors, action, raw emotions, laughter, tears, passion, fear, and the visibility of these things in the eyes and non-verbal communication of an individual.  When I capture a moment so brief, but so powerful that it can stand alone in representing an indivudual for their lifetime and even beyond, I feel as if I have given them a magical mirror.  It's as if I give them my own eyes for a moment to view themselves and the world around them as it appears to me.  I find inspiration in individuality, personalization, in unique and surprising places, and the search for these things is what I thrive on.  My inspiratin is...YOU!
